Autumn Pub of the Season 2007
The Black Swan - Ashover

Although Dawn and Malcolm Strange have only been at the pub since last November, they have already earned a justifiably good reputation for the quality of their beer.

Owned by Enterprise Inns, the Black Swan (aka the Mucky Duck!) has access to the Society of Independent Brewers’ Association beer list. On presentation night, the excellent local choices were Bradfield Farmer’s Blonde alongside a couple
of beers from Thornbridge.

The Branch’s congratulations were led by Chairman, Rhoda Waygood, who is pictured presenting Dawn and Malcolm with their certificate - which was promptly hung on the wall!
