Winter Pub of the Season 2006
The Red Lion - Whittington Moor

Part of the popular Moor circuit, this southernmost (and sole local) outlet for Old Mill beers topped the poll in our latest seasonal award.

One of our area’s regular stockists of Mild, the Red Lion is a traditional two-roomed community local, which actively supports charities such as the Edale Mountain Rescue team, runs a Friday evening quiz and hosts Saturday
night live entertainment. The usual range of Mild, Bitter and Bullion is
supplemented by seasonal offerings from the Snaith-based brewer.

Chesterfield & District CAMRA’s Ian Street is pictured presenting Maureen with her certificate.
