On
the night non-superstitious pub regulars were congratulating licensees Pat
and Alan Goucher of the Lamb Inn at Holymoorside that, with the publication
of the 2006 edition of the Good Beer Guide, they could now celebrate the
fact that their consistently excellent beer standards means that this pretty
village local has now been the CAMRA guide for 13 consecutive years. Members
of the local CAMRA Branch came along for a joint celebration as the Lamb had
also won the Chesterfield and District Autumn Pub of the Season Award.
